Calling All Youth

Calling all youth who want to make the world a better place! Artists, photographers, writers, travelers, story tellers, earth shakers, gardeners, water protectors, earth guardians, animal lovers, healers and heart warriors!

We invite you to co-create with us! We invite you to share your voices, your gifts, your songs, your stories, and to unite our hearts as one around the globe spreading hope, positivity, joy and LOVE!

We are creating a positive good news magazine led by the youth!!

In 2012, my mom had a dream to start a magazine that would spread hope and support creators who we’re making the world a better place with their lives and businesses… It was going to be called Community Green. Then in 2015, we renamed it Citizen Artists. The idea was a magazine filled with stories of people changing the world.

What is Citizen Artists you ask? A Citizen Artists is someone who has the capacity to think creatively about a SOULution to a problem and the courage to then put that idea into the world! Someone who is using their gifts to light up the world with integrity in all aspects of creation.

In 2016, my mom and I had the same dream, to go to Standing Rock and protect the water. We realized that Citizen Artists needed to be a positive good news magazine that shared the voice of our youth because the youth are our future! AND it needed to be global not just local!

I learn a lot of things at Standing Rock and one of the things I learned is I'm not the only one who is making the world a better place. We’re not alone and together we are so much stronger.

As we launch our magazine we are calling on the youth, the kids who grieve over what has been done to mother earth, the kids with fire in their eyes but have a heart of peace and kindness for others, the kids who stand up for others and the beings who can't speak for themselves, the ones who told their mom when they were little, “I want to save the animals when I grow up”, the kids telling their principles “we need gardens at school”, the kids who want to change school lunches to be organic, the people who will never give up, the ones who want a brighter world for the next generation and so many more!!

“We are the world, We are children, We are the ones who make a brighter day, so let’s start giving!”
